This is similar to the 18 Speed, except the QB and RB open up in the opposite direction and then ultimately spin back to the side they are running to. Very effective.

Great misdirection play. It almost looks like a Counter play.

Alternatively, you can run this play as a counter, where you have the quarterback and running back take a jab step to the left, before they take off to the right.

This will buy you more time. The defenders; linebackers and safeties, will start running to the left to try to beat them to the spot. Then they realize that they were going the wrong direction. This will buy you some extra time as an offense. This is especially good at slowing down a fast linebacker group that likes to react quickly.
