The quarterback is in shotgun and runs to his left making it look like a quarterback sweep to the left. He gives the ball to the “pulling” tight end on the inside going left. The quarterback must carry out the fake and continue running.

Notice the wide receivers running a fake bubble screen on the left. They need to always fake this as the previous play and subsequent play in this series will use one play to set up the next. The defense is unlikely to react correctly and will always think we are running the same play again.

The playside running back acts as a lead blocker and the tight end may have to bounce it outside of him. 

You can run this after the quarterback actually runs a sweep in that direction. The previous play should be used to set up this one.
